I am a passionate educator who thrives on developing innovative solutions with technology to address the changing landscape of education in the 21st century. I bring a design mindset coupled with a pragmatic approach that years in the classroom have taught me to develop engaging and creative eLearning environments and curriculum. I have a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley as well as a master's degree from UNLV in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in Technology Integration. I have extensive experience teaching diverse student populations, training educators, designing online curriculum, and managing websites and learning management systems.
I currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina and in my spare time I enjoy yoga, cycling, boxing, hiking, and reading. In addition to being an educator, I spent 15 years of my life training as a world class boxer. The determination and discipline I learned during my boxing career has served me well in all areas of my life.
